Dosent work

This app has a lot of potential because the online version works but the mobile hasnt at all. It keeps signing out and the processing never even takes place. If the processing starts no matter how many photos you take it wont render at all so you spend a ton of time properly taking the shots and it is all done for nothing. The idea is amazing so I really hope the bugs are all worked out soon.

Awesome

I love this app.

Good…

This app does a great job of capturing 360 degree models of objects. However, it has proven to be slow and unreliable, making it irritating to use.

Doesnt work

Repeated trails are failing to capture an object. Multiple light sources, stable surface, measured distances to the object..... None of it helps

Crashes immediately

Crashes as soon as its opened (iPhone 6S Plus). Tried a hard boot but still no luck:(

Crashes

Crashes when you open the app on iPhone 6s . Fix pls

Crash on 6s

Instantly crash

good

This is splendid application If I can capture it from a camera roll and can capture it from a video, it is better Please add an editing feature from iPhone

Crashes

Crashed on iPhone 6s when opening the app.

Stinky login requirements

Presumably, this app requires an autodesk account and also allows you to use twitter or facebook to log in. But why does it require that I allow it to follow people and post on my behalf? To spam my friends and followers? To turn me into their unwilling mouthpiece? Ill pass. Thats not how social media works, dear inepts at autodesk marketing department.

Cannot register

This app might be good but how can I use it while I cant hit next button on registration form...

Use in CG production

Very generously by Autodesk to let us use their cloud, but even more pleased to be able to add photos from the library of the device!

not working

not working - network issue. My wifi is ok.

Really cool app love it so much!

Do not work at all(

Сделал 70 фоток, они трансмиттинг ту сервер, и в итоге стабильный server error, раз 30 пробовал. Отстой. I make 70 photos, then after "transmitting to server" procedure i stable get "server error" message, i make nearly 30 tries with the same result!

Great app and wonderful idea but...

... When could we have an iphone and a Mac version of it? Five stars when the others Apple products will be supported!

Server failure!

The last two versions are totally useless. Unable to upload a single dataset in a week Made multiple attempts... The continuous animation of the last two captures (even when you are trying to upload) is just a battery waste. The upload ***must*** have a progress bar.

123..Crash

As title.. It crushes befor start catching images!! fix please !!

Incredible Art & tech app

This app has all but replaced my decades old passion for stereo 3D photography, and is edging out sphere panos as well. When its done right, you can get amazing, life life replicas to zoom, spin and view at leisure - especially viewing them on the iPad version (And you can also screen capture stereo pairs for 3D programs). With this app, you can now essentially bring your smartphone to any museum, show, shop, display, property or job site; discretely capture an object; process and edit it; and even 3D print your own copy of it! Everything from toy figures, sculptures, food, or anatomical skeletons to drone-photographed housing developments! (Uncanny life portraits and sleeping pets are also popular frontiers). The downside is Autodesks online system and editing options. The PC version will not bring up my iOS model meshes, so I have to extract (and jpg tag) my photo series from the models files, then re render them in order to crudely cut out extraneous parts using this free desktop version. (On the upside, you can shoot your own photo sequence with a much better camera than on you phone). This free PC version (no Mac version yet) also replaces the now-discontinued online 123D Catch app (which apparently once let you edit, close holes, smooth surfaces and more with your models using a simple interface - but no more. ) The online viewer and cloud storage set-up gets unwieldy after you start adding more models. They need sub folder, icon and category options. And the customer service is about zero. I guess one cant complain for such a totally terrific and innovative FREE app and service. (One online user says he likes this better than the $3,500.00 3D scanner he bought a few year ago!) But I would gladly pay $5-$20, or more, if Autodesk could streamline and improve the workflow, editing, storage, and viewing experience. This whole concept can be so much bigger than it is now.

Could be great... But isnt

This has been out long enough for Autodesk to get their you-know-what together and fix this app. It still crashes. A lot. It still fails. A lot. I work in the 3D CG world and I love the idea of a fast FReE photogrammetry app (stitching together 2D photos to make 3D mesh) but this is another example of Autodesks lack of consistent quality. I dont know how the current owners of a technology like Maya keep putting out crappy "toy" apps. Id rather pay $10 and have an app that worked. Its a crap shoot. Every time I use this. Not impressed.
