123D Catch App Reviews

I have been using AutoCad for over 20 years and after trying it out I gotta say this is truly a piece of crap. I read the unfavorable reviews and thought Autodesk wouldnt put out a bad product...Wrong. Just like everyone indicated it freezes up on "transmitting images". Help on this subject is nowhere to be found.

I know Im being picky about a 3-D scanner app that was free but that said Im still a little disappointed

It used to work pretty good, now all my scans get stuck on finalizing. This app is amazing when it works, please fix it!

Worked first time for me, amazing ! Probably better with a wifi connection

So I’ve tried 4 different ’basic’ objects to try and get used to the app. I’ve tried a small bar of hand soap, a small basketball that fits in my palm, a stress ball, and a rubix cube. First of all, it takes the app 3+ hours to finish. Then it just tells me it failed with little to no help as to why it actually did. I’ve used anywhere from 30 - 45 pictures dor these small objects which should be enough. There should be a video or even a slideshow of pictures you can watch or go through to see how to use the app to get the thing to actually work. As of now, terrible terrible app.

Fails every time - no meaningful feedback.

And after giving this app yet a third shot at winning me over....and thinking some more....still thinking. What a joke. The poor performance might just cause me to wipe out the whole Autodesk Inventor Pro on my PC. Autodesk should be ashamed of this app.
